Is that “grey” or “brown”?  

It is a gorgeously soft minky grey!  Notoriously difficult to photograph it can appear as brown in some shots, but it’s not!  It is very much a grey.

How to they attach to the cot rail? 

Each piece is cleverly manufactured with an internal nylon “sprung” clip. When popped over the rail the clip “hugs” the bar to keep it safely in place. The pieces stay nicely on the rail while the baby sleeps below.

How long does it take from ordering to delivery?

Our normal delivery time is between 2 to 4 working days from when the order is placed.  We recognise that there are times when the order might be urgent, and so we can do express delivery if you need it, just pop Mel a message on Insta: @cotterpillar or by email: [email protected].

Is it washable?

YES! Absolutely! Pop them in on a 30 degree wash then simply line or air dry. They come up like new time after time.

Can a toddler pull them off?

Honestly? Yes! Once the child is big enough and strong enough to pull themselves up the cot bars and reach the Cotterpillar, likely they will be able to pull and “chuck” them! Great fun for them!  During this stage of their development (which passes! ) you can always pop them up on the wall on one of our lovely Keepsake Shelves and then subsequently move them on to their big boy/girl headboard or foot-board so that they stay with them in their bedroom for many years.

Are the pieces all joined together? 

No! Each piece is individual and they get popped on to the bar to create your chosen personalised name or word.

How big are they? 

Each piece measures approximately 11cm in diameter, but they can squish up nicely to around 9cm if you need them to!

Will they fit on a ‘Next-To-Me’ cot?
